5 questions you might have about Guatemala SENT Trip
1) When is the trip?
November 22 – December 1, 2026
7–8 days in-country, plus travel. Exact dates will firm up once flights are booked.
2) What will we be doing there?
We’re going to listen, build relationships, and support what their needs. Through our CBM STEP Partnership, we’ll work alongside local partners on kids ministry, a building or service project, and shared learning. The itinerary is still taking shape with our hosts.
3) What does commitment look like?
Before you leave, the team will meet several times for cross-cultural training, CBM partnership sessions, team-building work, and team fundraising. When we return, we’ll meet to debrief our experience and later, share stories.
4) What does it cost?
Our most current budget expects a cost for each participant to be $3,500. The team will run group fundraisers together, and each person is encouraged to invite family and friends to give toward their trip to help offset the cost. The final cost to each person will depend on the outcome of the fundraising efforts.
5) I’m interested but not sure yet. What should I do?
Not ready to apply yet? Come find us between services Sunday, April 26 in the meeting room where we’ll share info snd help answer any questions you may have.

The travel dates listed above may shift slightly based on available flights – this will be firmed up approximately 5 months before departure. Our plan is to be in Guatemala for 7-8 days + travel.
-
Each team member is responsible for the full project cost of $3,500. As a team, we will participate in several group fundraisers, and individuals are also encouraged to invite family and friends to partner with them financially. Funds raised through these efforts will go toward reducing each participant’s total cost.
